The Wolfsin Chinook represents Wolfsin’s most advanced DMR radio platform to date and serves as the foundation for at least two future models. While the Chinook is packed with sophisticated technology and advanced functionality, the primary focus has always been on perfecting the fundamentals — ensuring every component is engineered for durability, reliability, and long-term performance.

Each Chinook features a model identification plate positioned beneath the belt clip, while the on/off and volume control assembly is protected by a specially formed, textured collar designed to guard against accidental impacts and wear.

Built to withstand the harshest operating conditions, the Chinook is the toughest and most heavily ruggedised radio design to date. Its deeply textured casing not only provides a professional appearance but also enhances grip and impact resistance, helping the radio withstand knocks, drops, and daily operational abuse while maintaining its professional finish over time.

Despite its exceptional toughness and the inclusion of a high-capacity 3250mAh lithium-ion battery, the Chinook maintains an impressive balance between durability and usability. Weighing approximately 300g and measuring just 54.5mm in width, it delivers a solid, premium feel without unnecessary bulk.

The Wolfsin Chinook was also designed with operator safety at its core. Advanced programmable safety functions include Man Down and Lone Worker protection, both of which can be configured by dealers to operate as limited alarm alerts or continuous emergency transmission loops until the radio is located and manually reset.
